Career Development Manual - Career Profile (I), (V), (S), (P)
The personal career portfolio assessments are part of a larger Career Development Manual developed by the University of Waterloo. The assessment portion of the manual includes assessments on personality & attitudes, skills & achievements, knowledge & learning styles, values, interests, and entrepreneurship. Upon completion of the assessments a personal career profile is developed.
Career Key (P)
Promoted as a “free public service to help people make sound career decisions” and based on the six Holland personality types. Each personality type has a list of matching occupations.
Kingdomality (P)
What is your medieval vocational personality? This assessment takes a “medieval kingdom” look at personalities and work roles associated with those personalities.
NextSteps (I), (V), (S), (P)
A series of short, self-exploration assessments focusing on attitude, interests, lifestyles, values, transferable skills, job-related skills and personal traits.
Personality Type (P)
Quick, easy, quiz that breaks personality into 4 “dimensions”: Extravert/Introvert, Sensors/Intuitives, Thinkers/Feelers; Judgers/Perceivers.
School Finder (I)
A get-to-know-yourself, 50-question quiz giving important clues to the best careers for a person based on responses to personal interest questions. Categorizes personal interest responses into one of the five types: innovative, directive, objective, methodical, or social.
