A Tech Prep student is one who is enrolled in a CTE program during high school that is continued after high school at the post-secondary level. Tech Prep agreements between high school and post-secondary institutions provide an identified “pathway” to high school graduates for additional post-secondary training in a related CTE program area. In addition, students who are enrolled in approved high school CTE courses and who have met all eligibility requirements can earn college credit(s) at no cost through dual enrollment.
