Superintendent on the RTW Committee
16 assessment centers including nine high schools, five alternative education sites and one mobile career lab
35 trained proctors
1505 assessments given during the 07-08 school year
As of May 2008, 70% of students who took all three assessments earned the RTW credential. Of these, 22% earned Gold; 54% earned Silver; 24% earned Bronze
At the end of June 2008, VCS ranked 5 th in the state in number of credentials earned
Seabreeze HS was named a RTW standout school, earning more than 100 credentials

Congratulations teachers on making Ready To Work a success! Thank you for all your hard work! Career & Technical Education (CTE) teachers are providing students with the opportunity to earn the Florida Ready to Work Credential. Students earning the Credential have demonstrated that they possess the skills needed to succeed in the workplace in three (3) key areas: Applied Math, Locating Information, Reading for Information.
 

All DCT, CTE/OJT, CTE Level 3, and Internship Teachers and Career Connection Facilitators completed training to become RTW test administrators. On September 30th, 2008 all CTE Level 3 Teachers will be trained as RTW administrators. As test administrators, teachers provide students with work-based learning through identified CTE programs; skill development using the self-paced, online WIN program; and Credential testing through the online, ACT/WorkKeys system.
