School-based enterprise experiences are activities carried out in which students produce goods and services to sell. School enterprises provide career experience in a career cluster area and involve students in all aspects of operating a business.

Business partner sponsorship is applicable and enterprise activities may be conducted on or off the school site. The enterprise must be directly related to and an enhancement of students' Career and Technical Education program.
