Is Your Business Interested in Hosting a Student Intern?

Student interns are participants in career academies. Part of the career academy experience is to provide on-the-job experiences, such as internships, to students. Internships are experiences that provide paid or unpaid work site training to students through hands-on training in a specific career area to enhance classroom learning. Internships have predetermined start/finish dates, lasting approximately 18 weeks. In order to receive school credit, the student must document 75 hours of work site training to receive ½ credit and 150 hours to receive 1 school credit.

YOU can provide these experiences to students!
